Dual Use Technology Quickie Dust Mop
In the ongoing conflict over dust control at casa lemurzone, one of the products I picked up was the Quickie Dust Mop.

The main reasons for this selection was 1. dust control, 2. the swivel, 3. the extensible handle.

The dust control issue.
This is not the tool for anything any heavier than 'cleanroom' dusting. Even pretreating with 'Endust' or a similar product , you have twice the setup for the same result. Additionally, you will have to wash the damn thing, to get the dirt and duster product residue out of it.
The Swivel
The swivel is the best feature of this product. It is simple, elegant and does the job like getting underneath furniture where dust bunny's bread and lurk. It just doesn't do the job very well.
The Extensible Handle
Twist to extend, twist to lock. Drop Dead Simple.
This is not the tool to buy for dust control. The 'Swiffer' style of products are a better choice for two reasons. Yes they are a two part system, but you don't have an ongoing maintenence/cleaning issue. First they really really do the job, and secondly they have corners on the tools to get into the corners in your house. Yes, I still have issues about products that built round or oval for use in square or rectangular houses. Do you live in a dodecaherdron or a bucky fuller dome?
Dual Use Technology
Where the Quickie Dust Mop shines is as a carwash mop. The strings are a soft material that will not scratch your finish, they are deep enough to get into the weird corners, nooks and crannies that make up today's Cars and Trucks and SUV's.
Washing a Truck, SUV or minivan is an exercise in peril and bodily harm. Washing the roof, which in most cases is taller than you are requires some sort of stature enhancement device to get you up there as well as getting it clean. Because it is taller than you are, it is also wider and longer than your reach. Roof racks are a pain in the ass as well.
Not only can you get the entire roof in fewer moves, minimizing the peril to you, but it's slim profile gets under those pesky roof rack side rails as well. It has a wide head and the strings soak up a lot of solution
helping you to get the job done.
The Quickie Dust mop with it's swivel and extensible handle is the tool for the job.
Highly Recommended
I broke my mop, I can't find another, perhaps you could tell me who sells them.
I loved it and now all I have is the handle.

I have only the handle. Where can I buy replacement dust mop heads like the one shown in the photo?
